We’re proud to be partnered with organisations that share our vision
We believe that every step counts in the journey to create awareness for men’s mental health and suicide prevention. Steps 4 Strength is more than just a run – it’s a movement dedicated to supporting those in rural and regional Australia who are struggling in silence.
Together with these incredible partners, we’re committed to creating lasting change for men’s mental health.

Followed by a community BBQ 🎉
We’re kicking off Steps 4 Strength with a day that means the world to me. This first run marks 10 years since the passing of my dad, Warren Paul Gunns, and it’s an honour to dedicate it to his memory. 💙
Our amazing sponsor Black Truck & Ag is front and centre for Day 1, and we’re so grateful for their support. Even more special—my sister Tyla Gunns and her son Zac Jackson will be flying in to run alongside me, surrounded by our family and community.
This is a run/walk event—you can move at your own pace, for as little or as long as you’d like. Whether you feel like 1km or 10, I’ll match your pace and run beside you.
To cap it off, the Black Truck & Ag crew will be joining me for the final kilometre—making it a truly united moment to start the 21-day journey ahead.
We’ll kick things off at the Sip Coffee Shop at Goondiwindi Boat Ramp, with both Loop 1 and Loop 2 starting and finishing at the same spot, making it easy for anyone to join in or cheer from the sidelines.
We’re keeping things inclusive and relaxed, with pacing set between 6 to 8.5 minutes per kilometre, so whether you’re walking, jogging, or running—you’re welcome.
